Seasons Greetings!

Well it's that time of year again. The time to remember how fortunate we are that our Lord provided a GIFT of salvation to us through his son. We endure long lines and traffic with bad attitudes just to give things to our loved ones as a symbol of the season. The irony is that none of these "gifts" mean anything in the landscape of eternity, and the act of giving is something that should be done from the heart. Therefore, we endure it for the good the gifts will bring to the ones we love....think of how our God loves us exponentially above that. He had more than just time and money to lose. And Jesus himself had more to lose, knowing the purpose for his earthly life - and death. But the resurrection made it worth it.
I myself am just as guilty of having less than a "holly jolly" attitude sometimes. But it mainly has to do with traffic. Maybe someone should write a book about how to find God in times of traffic.
Anyway, out of the depths. But think about what I said.
Here is a picture of me and Jon!
